Please write the name of your main character below.
Aphrodite
What class is your main character? Sith Warrior Marauder
What role would you like to play during guild events? DPS. I'm not much of a hutball ball carrier but I'll gladly provide support for those who need it. I can carry the ball when required.
What is your crafting profession? Slicing 300. The others are not maxed out nor are they even leveled.
How did you hear about Carnage? First I saw recruitment posts in general chat. Then a long time friend of mine joined Carnage.
What is your primary reason for applying to Carnage? (Raiding/PVP/F&F) PVP. Mostly because Rick joined Carnage about a week ago and I like to play with friends.
For Raiding Applicants Only: Carnage raids every Tues/Weds/Thurs/Sun @ 8PM EST. Please write down the days on which you can consistently attend raids: N/A. I will not be able to attend raids due to my time zone. I raided in WoW for 5 years. Raid start times for me were at 2AM. I can not continue this for another game.
Do you agree to refrain from using racial slurs and extremely offensive language during game play and on our forums? (Yes/No) I will refrain from using racial slurs to the best of my ability.
Do you agree to uphold the reputation of the guild as mature, unprejudiced, and respectful through your words and actions during game play and on our forums? (Yes/No) Yes.
Please briefly describe your MMORPG experience by listing games played, length of game play, and notable achievements. The only other MMORPG I have played is WoW. I played from just after release. I raided 10 man Scholo, 15 man UBRS all the way to T13 (I think that's the latest). I had two characters to rank 10 in the old PvP system and remember when WSG was fresh and new. Notable Achievements: You know. I cant think of anything I would consider notable. I cleared many raid zones so at this point none of them seem special to me.
Please tell us where you research your class strategies/boss fight: For class questions I ask other PvPers who I see performing exceptionally well in BGs. I have not researched any boss strats because I haven't had the need to. When I did raid I would normally go to youtube and see an instructional video. I prefer the visuals.
Please briefly explain your rotation/playstyle (feel free to be as specific as you'd like): PvP: Avoid force leaping to an opponent if possible. Use it after a stun or knock back when they try to run. Dots and slows up first. Throw an annihilate at them followed by a force scream. If I can get them to stand still I will ravage them. ALWAYS hitting buttons so there is never damage down time. Even if they're just small attacks. My priority for targets are Healers > Ops out of stealth > BH who just hit tracer = other marauders (Just because) > all others. If I'm on a healer I would like to kill them but I will settle for interrupting them as often as possible.
What was your previous guild, and reasons for leaving it?: Phenom. Just had a lot of other good folks leave last night; including the people I PvPed with and who recruited me.
And finally, please tell us a funny or extraordinary story involving you: Most of my stories are “guess you had to be there” moments. I have tons of stories but its hard for me to articulate a good story on the web.
This is not funny and was a guess you had to be there but Ill tell it anyway.
My most recent adventure was with the Boy Scouts. My son is now in the cub scouts. My wife and I signed him up saying we would alternate weekends and the other can get the day off. Not so much, I'm there weekly while she stays home in bed. Well anyway one of the first events the scouts had was a march in Bastogne Belgium for the 63rd anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. So I get off work, pick up my son and we drive out to Bastogne. We arrive at 9PM to a Gym that we were going to be staying in for the night. The floor was cold and hard in a building that looks like it has been there and not renovated since the war. The next morning we got up and marched on the trail that was the perimeter for the battle. I have have never felt so humbled before in my life. I had old local nationals coming up to me and thanking me for what my grandparents had done. I saw more American flags hung in windows than I did Belgium flags. There were old US and German military vehicles from that era. People in full military uniform from that time. People would set up places to show how soldiers lived back then. There is a HUGE monument dedicated to the American soldiers on a hill. All of the events and words on the monument are written in English. Even though I was exhausted and didn't really want to go, even though I slept on a hard cold floor, I think that is one of the best experiences I have had.
From my time in the Military to now I have lived on Islands, been to the likes of Marti Gras and Fasching. Seen a running of the bulls and bull fights (Speaking of which, never cheer for the bull. Locals get mad.) and all sorts of other things.
Also, If I'm in feel free call me Shaun.
