Well, it's been fun, Bioware! One of the smoother releases in history, to be sure. Unfortunately, the lack of content for the serious progressionites in Carnage has led us to dissolve our SWTOR arm. With the delay of Ranked PVP, Server Transfers, and statistic/bug fixes, much of our interest has dwindled in the past couple months, with 1.2 only briefly reigniting the flames that kept us here in the first place. Even though 1.2 shows remarkable progress in the development of the product, it's simply not enough content for the playstyles that our guild has come to expect from long-term focused MMO's. Almost exactly like Rift, the delay between content releases caused a lapse just long enough for people to lose the fire, and once that flame is extinguished, no amount of free months or mailed pets will bring it back.
For those staying in SWTOR, we wish them the best. One of our previous Officers will be rallying the cause to continue progressing within the SWTOR universe. We encourage all previous members of Carnage to utilize the forums and join with this faction.
Good luck to everyone we've met in our journeys. Keep your eyes here for the next game we decide to decimate!

A quick trip out to Voss earned us a dead Thing and some shiny new boots. Taking just a couple hours, Nightmare Pilgrim is a solid step in the right direction for SW:TOR's raid development...
Our problem?
Too easy! Although the mechanics are fun and a big step in the right direction, the overall encounter felt like it was geared towards people who do not really have raiding experience. Some of the AOE circles seemed to have almost 5 second activation times; one of them actually going from a large target to a small one, then exploding. Also, the fight felt rather short; in this day and age, I think the high end player base feels like these new encounters should bring new cards to the table; not play the same ol' hands we've seen countless times before. We've seen damage shields. We've seen the AOE circles. When we see the creativity in encounters like the Puzzle boss, and the Minefield, it sets a high bar for future encounters. Being the only actual high end raid world boss, we'd love to see some of the Instanced creativity make it's way into these new, foundational encounters.

A busy week begins as we finish off EV NMM 16 and move to Karagga's. Great job to everyone involved! 2/5 16man NMM KP and counting! As we get closer to completing SWTOR's raiding content, the PVP side of our guild is starting to ramp up. Stay tuned for some announcements concerning our PVP arm in the coming weeks!

Big congratz to Apokalupsis for being this weeks Carnage MVP!

Bioware may have bugged this boss last patch, but that didn't stop us from changing up our strategies and bulldozing through this encounter! With the completion of HM 16 Soa, Carnage is now 10/10 HM 16man raiding.
Incoming Nightmare >:)

Also congratulations to David for being Carnage's first Weekly MVP! Thanks again to Layban for sponsoring this event.
